I build software that makes businesses simpler, smarter and more human.

I'm Deepak Priyadarshi, a founder-engineer based in Patna, Bihar. I built my first website in 2008, years before writing code became my job, and I've been building for the web ever since. I'm an engineer by heart.

That curiosity turned into a career: for more than eight years I've worked professionally at the intersection of product engineering, system design and, increasingly, AI.

My path started in the IoT lab at KIIT, went through industrial IoT at Dysmech and telecom and enterprise networking at Wifi-Soft, and on to leading engineering at NearbyGrocer, where we brought neighbourhood kirana stores online. I then spent four years at UpKeep, building a CMMS product used by maintenance teams worldwide and shipping its first generative-AI features.

Today I'm CTO & CPO at RodBez, Bihar's taxi platform, and I build my own companies: Cogneora (AI agents for small businesses), Instaneeds (online stores for Indian sellers), Startup Powerhouse (mentorship for founders) and Badhai Ho (luxury gifting). Through The Local Sandbox I help other teams, including MARG ERP, ship their platforms.

I believe technology should empower people, not just automate tasks. And I believe world-class products can be built from Bihar, for Bharat and beyond.
