Startup Powerhouse is a mentorship marketplace where founders and learners find experienced mentors across startups, tech, careers and personal growth, and book one-on-one sessions with them. The landing experience and the platform's core backend are built; mentor discovery and booking are next.

Under the hood

  • Separate API and web app behind Nginx; one Docker image runs the API, background workers and scheduled jobs
  • PostgreSQL with PostGIS for location data, managed through Drizzle ORM migrations
  • Core service ships with Valkey caching, MongoDB audit logs, multi-factor login, S3-compatible file storage and MSG91 SMS
