Overview

Instaneeds is a store builder for kirana shops, local stores and growing D2C brands. Sellers put their products online, take orders with cash on delivery, store pickup or their own payment gateway, and run everything from one simple panel. No coding, and no commission on sales.

What it does

• A storefront on yourstore.app.instaneeds.com, or the seller's own domain with automatic HTTPS
• Six storefront themes and a section-based homepage builder with 11+ section types
• Products with variants, collections, brands and multi-location inventory with stock reservation
• COD, store pickup, and online payments through the seller's own Razorpay or Cashfree account
• Pincode and state delivery rules, free-delivery thresholds and minimum order value
• Seller panel in English, Hindi and Maithili; staff roles and multi-store under one login
• Associate programme: partners earn commission for the sellers they bring

Under the hood

• Multi-tenant storefront resolved from the Host header, cached in Valkey with per-seller invalidation
• Custom Caddy edge with a wildcard certificate and on-demand TLS for sellers' custom domains, approved by the API
• Per-seller payment gateway credentials stored encrypted, with webhook reconciliation and 30-minute payment holds
• Subscription billing on Razorpay with plan limits, GST-inclusive pricing and a grace period
• PostgreSQL with Drizzle and a read replica; 76 API test files
